Eight years ago John asked me to take photos of the contents of his large automobile warehouse in Sparks.
He decided to sell some of the “new” old car parts he no longer needed or wanted, plus a few cars on his website.
John and I spent several hours photographing over two hundred car parts. With each “new” old part,
John gave me the pertinent details of the part, including the value, ALL from memory. John kept all his parts
well-organized on metal shelves in the warehouse. He could easily find whatever part he was looking for.
The large warehouse also housed six antique autos.
By the time we finished, I knew John would only sell a few of the car parts. Most of the “new” car parts
belonged to his beloved “collection,” and he could not bear to part with them.
On John’s website, he advertized about ten car parts to sell, and two (non-Cadillac) cars.
